Seniors, Any Funny Cooking Stories From You or the Family?

I'll share mine and you share yours. My daughter, when a teen couldn't figure out why the steak she was frying was taking so long. She was trying to fry a roast. Also, she forgot the rice in porcupine meat and hid a surprise inside, a chunk of pineapple. Those days were so much fun but got to be a little expensive with the food bill. lol She's an excellent cook now.
