How to make my goldfish look more tough?

Okay so my goldfish is living in the same tank as my snapping turtle. The thing is, tortuga(my turtle) is always trying to eat pez(my goldfish). So I want to make Pez look more tough so Tortuga will be the p*ssy turtle he is and back off of him. So how can I make my goldfish more fear inducing?
