My band has produced a CD, royalties? copyrights?

My band has recently recorded 5 songs, 4 of which are covers, one is a medley (also, what are the rules on medleys?). We have various copies of the CD, and want be able to sell them. what do we need to do with regards to copyrights and royalties?
