How long does the glue or adhesive strips on a lace front wig last?

I am buying a lace front wig today and I have never had one and have a few questions. First a little background. I have serrobic dermatitus which causes oily scaly flakes on my scalp. It occurs when ur hair produces oil and it does not go down the hair shaft bcuz of the texture of my hair. So it builds up on the scalp. I have special shampoo I must use at least 3 times a week I only use it once. Being black that mush washing is really hard on my hair. I have a foam that I have to apply daily or at least every few days to keep the dandruff manageable. I wear my hair natural because perms are really bad on my hair with this condition. I want to grow my hair out its shoulder length now..I want it past the shoulders. Ppl say lace fronts aren't good for growin out hair but I plan on wearin the wig a little above my hairline to minimize damahe. How long does the glue and adhesive strips last? How strong are they? Can I. Brush my hait or pull it back without the wig falling off? Also how long would a sythetic ok quality wig last. It is made from fiber that u can curl and style. Also should u wash the wig where the adhesive is applied?
