HI i entered US on a student visa. I graduated on May20 and have a 60 day grace period for status adjustment.?

HI i entered US on a student visa. I graduated on May22 and have a 60 day grace period for status adjustment. I gor married on April 15 to a US Citizen and have received an I 797c appointment for biometrics. Does it give me permission to stay legally in US or do i have to start with a new program of study to make my status legal after the 60 day grace.
