Can i consider this grounds for slander here in the philippines?

my boss's wife came to our workplace alleging me that her husband and i are having this indecent affair? then here she goes speaking language that's not so pleasant to hear...that I'm a ***** and that she knows i had ual affair with her husband..although something really silly happened between me and my boss,that still remained unproven because she has no proof available other than gossips from our colleagues..what really pisses me off is that I'm working in a high end restaurant that certain guests heard what she's been saying..can i get myself a civil remedy for this?
